The aFire grilling planks are simple and easy to use. You soak the plank under water for at least 30 to 60 minutes. You can even add wine or juice to soaking water for creative flavors. Next you preheat grill to 350-400 °F. Finally, you cook your seasoned seafood, meats, or vegetables right on top of plank. You can close the lid and smoke to your liking and there is no need to turn food. You can choose from Alder, Cedar, Black Cherry or Sugar Maple grilling planks.
aFire's Coconut Charcoal is a safe, easy-to-use, non-petroleum fuel source that makes grilling extra special. Food's true taste comes through when cooked on Coconut Charcoal. Now the Coconut Charcoal has a maximum burning temperature of 800°F compared to regular charcoal which burns at 715°F. Also, the Coconut Charcoal burns for 2 ½ hours compared to regular charcoal at 1 ½ hours. Best of all, the Coconut Charcoal is environmentally friendly!
