Mindfulness meditation is like practicing those free throw shots everyday so your fundamentals are sound. You have a platform to build additional abilities from and on. Then practicing things like gratitude, compassion, metta (loving-kindness) in a purposefully reflective and contemplative manner enables us to actively draw on these skills come GAME TIME. Game Time here is your everyday life: getting cut off in traffic, your friend is being so selfish, the customer was incredibly rude and disrespectful. These are the times we have been practicing for – practice when it’s easy, practice when its’ hard, show up and conquer come Game Time.
