About Astonishingcards

AstonishingCards was founded by John & Ginny Welsh (and of course their dog Bumper) in 2004. It all started with a phone call. A customer wanted to know if they would support their product which was an application on cell phones to create printed and mailed postcards. They thought it was a dandy idea and immediately got busy creating postcard templates and designed borders. John got in touch with a friend who had held senior art positions at the two largest greeting card companies in the world to see if she was interested in creating some cards. Not only was she interested, but she recruited other top notch designers as well. The rest is history!
