Road ID manufactures the premier line of rugged identification gear for outdoor athletes so they can be identified in case of emergency or accident. Each Road ID is designed to give First Responders the information they need to immediately contact family members, access medical information and prevent serious delays in case of injury. The company’s line of customized IDs is an integral part of any active person’s gear and can be worn on the wrist, shoe, ankle, or around the neck. A full line of innovative ID products is available for cyclists, runners, triathletes, skiers, kayakers and other outdoor enthusiasts.

BONUS 10% Off!

Any Lucky Day and Road ID have partnered up today to bring you a special deal on their identification products. You can receive 10% off at checkout so act now at Road ID and use the code 'PC618204' for the discount! Good until 2/28/10 so hurry before this offer ends.

Road ID Products
Road ID makes six different styles of ID to accommodate any outdoor enthusiast: the Wrist ID Sport, the Wrist ID Elite, the Ankle ID, the Fixx ID (dog tag), the Shoe ID, and the Shoe Pouch ID. Additionally, each style of Road ID can be personalized in either our “Original” version (below left) or in our new “Interactive” version (below right). Both versions are popular and provide emergency personnel with the necessary information required.

Two Versions: Original vs. Interactive
Road ID Original - is the “original” or “first” version of Road ID that we offered. This version of the ID allows you to personalize 6 or 7 lines of laser engraved text (7 lines on the FIXX ID, 6 lines on every other style). Road ID Original, unlike Road ID Interactive, does not give you the ability to create an updateable, secure Emergency Response Profile (ERP). Instead, it provides immediate emergency information right on the ID.

Road ID Interactive - allows you to build a fully updateable, secure Emergency Response Profile (ERP) that is available to first responders 24 hours a day 365 days a year. You can still customize the first 2 or 3 lines of an Interactive ID (3 lines on a FIXX ID, 2 lines on every other style). The last 4 lines, however, are reserved to provide instructions on how to access your ERP in an emergency situation. Your ERP can communicate to First Responders your Name, Address, Emergency Contacts, Health Insurance, Medical Information, and more.

Top 10 Reasons You Should Wear ID
1. If you can’t speak for yourself, Road ID will speak for you.
2. Road ID enables First Responders to immediately contact family members and friends.
3. Road ID enables family members to provide additional details about your health or give consent for potentially lifesaving procedures.
4. Road ID enables hospital staff to locate vital medical records.
5. Road ID can communicate medical conditions or allergy information to medical staff.
6. Road ID can prevent serious delays in treatment by saving crucial time during the “golden hour” of medical treatment.
7. It’s far better to have Road ID and not need it than to need Road ID and not have it. It’s not just a piece of gear, its peace of mind.
8. Accidents happen far more than you think they do. Each year approximately 450,000 of us are taken to hospitals unconscious and without identification.
9. Road ID looks good on and makes a statement about your athletic lifestyle – not to mention that studies would probably prove that people that wear Road ID are considerably smarter than those that don’t.
10. Road ID can save your Life. Period.

  • I would love a road idea for the piece of mind it would give me and my new wife.

I live in a community where tri-athaletes live. My hubby is looking in getting one because he bikes for hours in the hills than runs. Great life saver if you get hurt out in the hills.
  • lesliejane
Love this idea. Could really use it, since I take the bus but still have a couple of block walk, and gets dark early.

I love Road ID ... what a great idea ... I like the idea of the interactive one that can store your info ... then you can update it anytime... Hope I win one ... Whoot hooot... I just hope that as more of us are wearing them that the EMS folks do look for them on us and take the time to look up the info ... WOW~
  • BWeaver

  • Anita P.
I really like the firefly flashing/reflective items for when I walk my dogs after dark. I could really use these!

The Road ID would be perfect for me. I have Epilepsy and if I were to have a seizure while I was out of the house people could look at the id and know what was wrong.
  • Mike Seaton
Great way to not be as safe as possible when you aren't able to help yourself. Too many people have been saved by using Road ID.
  • Elizabeth
If my dad or I ever had an emergency this would be a great way to tell the EMS what to give us and what we are allergic to!
  • Jack Davis
I love 'em! Great to have and wear!
I'd love to have these myself
  • jessvano
Road ID is a great idea! Helps you and your family members feel safe when out on the road!
  • kwaterk1978
These are awesome! I've seen the Ad in Runners World, and wanted to take a second look. Best investment a runner can make, especially if you run early morning or in the evenings!

It would be great to win!
  • Parker Dougherty
Road ID is the bomb - just as important as a helmet when road biking!!
  • Parker Dougherty
Road ID is the bomb! Definitely won't go road biking without one - just as important as a helmet!
  • Patrick Harder
Sounds like an excellent idea...I want one !!
  • Marianne Perreault
Road ID is an awesome product! My husband and I both wear ours, as we're runners, cyclists and backpackers/hikers. I bought some for my parents (Dad has Alzheimer's) and they wear it for our peace of mind. I'm going to purchase more for additional family members and for close friends. It's one of the best products I've seen in years!
  • Ian Palmer
RoadID is a wonderful product that I have used for years. I highly recommend it to anyone who is active outdoors, especially those that go it alone. I want to eventually get one of these for my whole family.
  • Dave Karl
This would be great to have for my dog!!
  • 7dsGlacier
I just got into backpacking and hiking, pretty coincidental seeing this here!
  • snowgoon77
After having been run over while commuting from work on my bike, a RoadID is one of the first and last pieces of safety equipment I use. Hopefully I wont need it, but I know it is there if I should.
  • kathypease
Thank you for the Great giveaway please count me in :)
  • justiniler
This is awesome. i don't like having to wear metal id bracelets, or my tags when running or working out, also with summer coming up lose fitting id wear can easily fall off and get lost. also this will be great for kids. I'm sure I'm gonna get some hope maybe i will get a free one too.
  • kellycook
What a great idea! As a mom of two I can't be too safe :)
  • Melissa
I love RoadID! Luckily I haven't had to use mine yet, but I've been meaning to get an elite for awhile now so that I can wear it at work. Truly a great product.
  • JohnWS556
Excellent product. My wife has had many medical problems lately, and I would feel much more secure if she had this since I am at work all day. Unfortunately, people don't like to think that anything's going to happen to them, but the sad truth of the matter is that you never truly know.
  • I always thought, why? After being run over by a car, I got smarter. I ordered one and will get one for my running buddy Indy (our 2year old dog).
It is a smart and simple way to be a bit safer out there.
    cheers
