Today's contest is sponsored by CubeGuard, and we are giving away three (3) CubeGuard Message Barriers. With CubeGuard you can protect your productivity.

Does it seem like your co-workers always stop by and engage in idle chit chat especially when you are up against a deadline or just need to get work done? So many of us have resorted to extreme measures like blocking our cubicle entryway with ugly shower curtains, potted plants, and other objects. Now there's an easy, professional way to let your co-workers know you need time to focus. CubeGuard installs in seconds in most cubicles or entryways. Once installed, simply pull a “Please Do Not Disturb” banner to the opposite side of your entryway to prevent interruptions. If you're out of the office, out to lunch or working from home, use CubeGuard to let people know where you are.

For productivity positioning, look at CubeGuard's ROI Calculator on how bad interruptions affect individuals.

  • Susan Bincsik
I have never seen these before! WHat a great idea! I really need one of these! Thanks!
  • Kay
I love the Working from Home one especially! Too many people think that working from home means you can be interrupted any time at all, especially my son. He's old enough to know what I mean when I say I'm too busy to chat and still wanders in the room on a whim, forgetting what I said earlier. It drives me crazy! A physical barrier like that would be fantastic as a reminder to him (and myself!) that I already said I couldn't be disturbed. Working from home is hard enough to discipline yourself to do without continual interruptions and getting back into the flow when you're a freelance writer/reviewer is particularly hard. Fingers crossed! Thanks for the chance to win. :)
  • brenda r
