The Spider Catcher is for those who dislike spiders and other insects in their house and want to remove them effectively. Most of us usually stand in fear with a paper towel in hand and fight with family members over who's going to kill the bug sitting on the wall. With the spider catcher, you simply can catch and release the bug outside all while doing it from a safe distance away. The Spider Catcher works by simply squeezing the handle to expand the bristles and placing it around the spider (or other insect) and then releasing the handle so that the bristles close and harmlessly trap the spider. Now that the insect is trapped you are free to do what you please with it (they suggest releasing it outside, but I had other plans for it).

I had the opportunity to test out the Spider Catcher and I couldn't be happier with it. The second I received these things I was walking around the house in search of bugs to catch. The bristle system works well and I was able to catch several centipedes that I had found hiding in our basement. I like the Spider Catcher because I no longer have to get up close and personal with the bugs and leave a smashed bug stain on the wall or floor. I am able to stay a safe and comfortable enough distance away to trap the bug that is on the loose and dispose of it after. The only thing is sometimes you have to be quick because the bugs move fast!
