The PlatyPreserve wine preservation system is a unique storage system that allows you to extend the life of your wine by eliminating the presence of oxygen. As many people know, the taste of wine changes after a period of time because of its exposure to oxygen. Usually, wine is best enjoyed within a few hours of being opened. If not properly preserved, wine can go bad in as little as 2 to 8 hours. There are many alternative wine preservation methods, such as pumping air out of the bottle or injecting gas into the bottle, however, PlatyPreserve has you transfer your un-finished wine into an air tight reservoir to truly protect the taste of your wine so it may be enjoyed several days or even weeks later.

I was able to test out the PlatyPreserve Wine System and I have to say that it is very simple to use. Once you are done drinking the wine that you have opened, pour the remainder from the bottle into the PlatyPreserve. Take the cap and place it loosely on the PlatyPreserve. Squeeze the Platypreserve to remove all air and then tighten the cap to seal out the air. Since PlatyPreserve is a flexible container, the air can be removed from the wine by simply squeezing the container to expel ALL of the air. This can not be done with a rigid glass container. After a few days I opened up the PlatyPreserve and the wine tasted exactly as it had tasted the day I opened it.
