Take Your Pix® photo albums by
Board Book Albums have sturdy cardboard pages, into which photos can be inserted from openings in the top of the pages. Unlike traditional photo albums, Take Your Pix® board book albums have thick rigid pages that won't bend or tear, so they're perfect for kids to handle (they are very much like children’s board book storybooks). These albums are free-standing and perfect for display and the pages have notches on them which makes them easy to flip through.
Take Your Pix® photo albums are a great speech development tool recommended by parents, teachers, and therapists and they are also a great learning tool for autistic and special needs children. Each 7"x7" book contains 10 pages and holds 20 4"x6" photos inside, plus one photo in the cover frame.
Board Book Albums sells these albums in two styles, My First Photos albums and blank albums. My First Photo style albums are available in pink, blue and yellow, while the blank albums are available in white, black, pink, and blue. These albums are also great for scrapbooking, kids crafts or school activities, and they make the perfect gift for almost any occasion.
About Board Book Albums
When Laura Miranti's daughter Lucia was a year old, she and her husband realized that Lucia was behind her peers in meeting certain developmental milestones. They began having regular sessions with a physical therapist and an early learning specialist. By age 2 she began walking well and trying to say lots of words and in order to encourage her speech development, the early learning specialist suggested that Laura find Lucia a photo album to fill with photos of her family, toys, and other familiar objects in her world. When Laura was unable to find a kid-friendly photo album, she came up with the idea to create a board book photo album.
