Roy was a character Zack had drawn, and as a surprise, his mom had put that character on a tshirt for him. Soon after Zack created a whole gang of cool characters to join Roy on his venture of becoming a household name. The Good Boy Roy story is especially inspiring when you know the real kid behind the drawings has struggled since birth with some significant neuropsychiatric challenges that have rendered him non-functioning at times. But Zack’s drawings have always been fun, therapeutic and a source of pride for him. The Good Boy Roy story is about dreams, hope, faith and overcoming.

About Zack from Good Boy Roy

Zack is 15 and has always loved to draw. He raced BMX bikes at one time and played baseball most of his life. Zack has always been funny, silly and loves to do impersonations. He is like most kids but has some challenges that he has struggled with growing up, like OCD and ADD, then a strep infection which is believed to have caused him to develop Tourettes and Tics. (It's called PANDAS, Pediatric Autoimmune Disorder Assciated With Strep). Zack's drawing is something that calms him down, is comforting to him and is something he has always been proud of.
